The UK’s first farmer-owned coffee company is encouraging people to rethink what “good coffee” really means.
Starting with one simple idea: fresh coffee should be accessible to everyone and consistently delicious, whatever your routine.
Blue Turaco offers an easy way to enjoy great coffee at home, without changing how you already make it. Reliable and simple to prepare, it’s a practical choice for busy mornings, work-from-home days, or slower weekends.
Blue Turaco is built around 100% Ugandan specialty Robusta, a bean often overlooked in favour of Arabica yet perfectly suited to everyday drinking, with bold flavour, natural strength and great value.

Its fresh coffee is designed to work with your routine. No specialist kit or complicated process required, however you like to make your coffee, it works.
For a simple cafetière method: add 1 tablespoon of ground coffee, pour over 250ml of hot water, stir, and leave to brew for 4 minutes. Plunge slowly, pour, and enjoy.
Robusta often comes with preconceptions, but when grown and processed with care, it offers something quite different.
Lovely on the nose, it’s bold but balanced with natural notes of chocolate and nuts and a smooth finish that makes it easy to drink at any time of day.
Perfect with milk of choice or straight up black as nature intended.
Alongside ease and flavour, Blue Turaco also focuses on how coffee is sourced.
The company is farmer-owned and works directly with smallholder farmers in Uganda, paying fair prices and building long-term partnerships.
Every bag sold helps fund two school meals for children in local communities, supporting access to education where the coffee is grown.
For anyone who loves coffee but could do without the complexity, Blue Turaco offers a refreshing alternative. No specialist knowledge. No expensive equipment. Just a smooth, flavourful cup that fits easily into everyday life.
Blue Turaco specialty-grade Ugandan Robusta coffee is available in ground and whole bean formats in Tesco, Waitrose, Co-op and Ocado at RRP £6.00.
