Lovers of the great outdoors can now enjoy hearty Bavarian food and ice cold German beers while enjoying the sunshine, thanks to London’s Bavarian Beerhouse. Following recent weather forecasts, which predict a beautiful summer, the Bavarian Beerhouse decided to take the Bavarian experience al fresco and offer a picnic takeaway.

In true Bavarian style, hampers will contain ice cold German lager beer, freshly baked bread rolls topped with cheese and Bavarian Black Forrest ham, pretzels, homemade potato salad, pickled gherkins and tomatoes. All Bavarian picnic hampers cater for two people and also contain plastic cutlery and glasses, paper table cloth and napkins.

The Bavarian Beerhouse’s General Manager, Diana Lehmann, said: ‘London’s parks are world-class, so we wanted to give people the opportunity to have a proper Bavarian-style picnic and came up with the idea of a Bavarian picnic basket.”

Bavarian picnic takeaways cost only £29 and can be ordered online, over the phone or in person at the Bavarian Beerhouse, where the hampers can be picked up. All that’s needed is a credit card and a mobile phone number – and some form of ID for those lucky enough to look younger than 21.
