Six of the best chefs in London are set to create a huge array of dishes to celebrate Welsh Lamb at The Butcher in Leadenhall Market.

Each Wednesday from 8th September-13th October chefs from some of London’s most prestigious restaurants will be cooking up lamb dishes for the public to tuck in to and sample for free. Chefs representing Galvin at Windows, Arbutus and L’Anima will all be taking part by bringing their own unique culinary skills to the special month long event. The best part is that if you like what you try at lunch times you can buy a portion.

Every Wednesday a different chef will get their chance to shine using the freshest Welsh Lamb that’s been delivered straight for the farm; Andre Garrett from Galvin at Windows will be cooking on Wednesday 8th September, Joe Gray from Kenza on the 15th, Food Writer Sophie Wright on the 22nd, Anthony Demetre from Arbutus on the 29th, Francesco Mazzei from L’Amina on 6th October and finally top Indian chef Cyrus Todiwala on the 13th.The six dishes will take on flavours from around the world as each chef devises their dish based on their area of expertise. Expect to see British, Indian, Italian, French, Mediterranean and Moroccan themed meals!

As well as creating and cooking the dishes themselves the chefs will also be on hand to offer tips on recreating the recipes at home.
