Apple season is upon us once again so head out, forage for the juiciest and tastiest apples and try Sainsbury’s seasonal Apple and Berry crumble recipe. This Apple and Berry recipe is a tangy fruity filling topped with an oaty, buttery crumble mix – this is a quick and easy version of a family favourite.

You Will Need:
1 x 370g pouch Bramley apple and blackberry compote by Sainsbury’s
1 x 250g pack fresh crumble mix by Sainsbury’s
80g whipped cream by Sainsbury’s
- Preheat the oven to 200°C, fan 180°C, gas mark 6. Lightly grease a 1-litre ovenproof dish.
- Add the compote to the dish and scatter the crumble mix evenly over the top.
- Bake in the oven for 30 minutes, until the topping is golden and the juices are seeping through.
- Leave to cool for 5 minutes, then serve with the whipped cream.
Cook’s tip: Add a handful of chopped pistachios to the crumble mix for a crunchy twist.
