Local Marylebone haunt, 108 Brasserie is offering a traditional Burns Night Supper to enjoy at home.

mcith_burns.pngWhile it’s doors are temporarily closed, 108 Brasserie at The Marylebone hotel continues to ensure important celebrations are not missed with exclusive takeaway options.

After the success of its Thanksgiving Feast, 108 is offering a Burns Night Takeaway, promising locals traditional festivities from the comfort of their home, whether they choose to don on their tartan or not.

The takeaway will come carefully packaged with simple preparation instructions to ensure a restaurant-standard experience at home. A Burns Night poem will also be included allowing guests to’address the haggis’ for an authentic Burns experience.

To start, guests will whet their appetite with a traditional smoked haddock, potato and onion soup, Cullen Skink before indulging in the menu’s King of the Castle, the Balmoral Estate Venison & Haggis Wellington, served with neeps and tatties and a whisky sauce (vegetarian options are also available).

Guests can even take it up a notch and add black truffle for an extra £10.

To finish, the final course is a Traditional Cranachan, made from Scottish oats, honey, raspberries and whisky cream.

It is best enjoyed with a dram (or two) of Scotch whisky and 108 guests are able to redeem an exclusive 10% discount on whisky and wine at local neighbourhood experts, Philglas & Swiggot wine shop on New Quebec Street.

108 Brasserie Burns Night Takeaway costs from £45 per person.
