We do like to be beside the seaside and Benares, the Michelin-starred Indian restaurant in Mayfair, has launched a Journey through the coast of India series.

Every two weeks the restaurant will be offering a different ‘Special Dish’ which highlights a different part of the Indian coastline. Journeying from the Konkan Coast to Andhra Coast to Malabar Coast the dishes are designed to be shared, each celebrating the region that has inspired them.

Coming up next in the series is the Malabar Coast – a seaside region of India.

Chef Sameer Taneja pays tribute to this coastal region with an exquisite creation – the Malabar King Crab. Experience the flavours of the “Spice Garden of India”, renowned for its vibrant fishing villages and rich spice heritage.

  • From 14th August: Coromandel Uttapam
