With the days getting longer, and hopefully warmer, Massis, the Lebanese Restaurant located in Paddington Basin, has partnered with Cancer Research UK and the Nuffield Health Club to encourage people to not only think about Al Fresco dining, but to combat the risk of cancer by consuming at least five portions of fruit and vegetables a day.
On 14th May, Massis will be hosting their 5 at 5 event, which will be a fun evening of live music, activities and great food, as well as raising money for Cancer Research UK.
From 5pm, for £12.50, customers can enjoy:
· Belly dancing lessons and demonstrations
· Dj as well as Live music
· A choice of beer, glass of wine or spirit and mixer
· A stand up buffet of hot and cold mezze, which will incorporate 5 portions of fruit or veg as part of the choices. Dishes will include well known favourites such as hummus and tabouleh, but also more unusual specialities such as mjaddarah.
· A selection of Lebanese sweets and mint tea.
For each ticket sold, a proportion of the proceeds will go towards Cancer Research UK.
On the evening, the team from the Nuffield Health Club will also be operating a running clinic, to encourage customers to sign up to the next Race for Life.
