The Bedford in Balham is celebrating British Pie Week with 2-4-1 on a selection of limited-edition pies from 4th – 8thMarch*.
With both vegan and meat, sweet and savoury choices, there are plenty of options, so grab a friend and tuck in.
Tasty pies on offer include a hearty steak and Timothy Taylor’s Landlord ale pie, best enjoyed with a pint of the same. For those seeking a plant-based option, the pulled jackfruit and oyster mushroom is a must-try-pie, best served with a bottle of the amazing Proud IPA (the UK’s first’queer beer’ where 20p from every bottle is donated to LBGTQ+ charities).
Sweet pies come in the form of a vegan frangipane and plum with vanilla ice cream. Try it washed down with a pint of crisp Camden Pils Lager for the ultimate end to a meal.
Three Cheers Pub Co. – the London pub group behind The Bedford – is celebrating British Pie Week across all nine of its leading pubs which include The Avalon in Clapham, The Bolingbroke in Battersea and The Princess Victoria in Shepherd’s Bush.
They are also offering 2-4-1 on pies from 4th – 8th March.
Each pie is also carefully matched with a drink, should you wish to indulge. Additional combinations include coconut, cauliflower and chickpea curry pie served with Skinny Lager available at The Avalon and The Rosendale, as well as a wild boar and chocolate pie served with local Brixton Brewery’s Windrush Stout.
All main course pies are priced at £13.50, with dessert pies available for £6 each (exclusive of beers).
