This winter, visitors of The Savoy can now indulge in the iconic hotel’s sumptuous festive afternoon tea.

mcith_savoy.pngGuests will be able to experience teartime bliss with The Savoy team’s take on afternoon tea favourites, boasting the finest seasonal ingredients from their award-winning suppliers. Not to be missed savoury treats include smoked venison loin, chestnut and blackcurrant finger sandwich made with fresh juniper bread baked by Boulangerie de Paris and high tea favourite, hand-dived scallops, which are delivered fresh from Billingsgate Market each morning, and served with fennel puree and miso dressing.

The Savoy is justly famous for its patisserie too! Guests will appreciate their spiced citrus delice, made with gingerbread, mandarin and white chocolate whipping ganache, while taking comfort in knowing that when it comes to chocolate, only the best will do for The Savoy. All chocolate on the afternoon tea menu has been chosen with the expertise of chocolate-connoisseur Cacao Barry to ensure the pastries and cakes are perfectly paired with their chocolate soul mate.

The Savoy offers a selection of 30 Jing teas and Louis Roederer Champagne for guests to enjoy with afternoon tea. For those looking for an even more decadent experience, one can relish in Savoy style with a glass of Louis Roederer Cristal while soaking up the elegant surroundings of Thames Foyer.
