On January 12th a devastating earthquake, measuring 7.0 on the Richter scale hit Haiti, with a large part of the Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince having been completely destroyed, displacing 300,000 homeless with an estimated death toll of more than 50,000.
Event organiser and ‘Foodepedia’ food writer Sabrina Ghayour, is organising a fundraising dinner with all proceeds being donated to Action Against Hunger (www.aahuk.org).

Top Chefs will unite to work side-by-side to prepare an exquisite five-course feast, paired with expertly matched wines for dinner guests. The Chefs for this special event are John Burton Race, Chris Galvin of Galvin Restaurants, Atul Kochar of Benares, Herbert Berger of 1 Lombard Street and Vickram Purewal of Le Bouchon Breton, who are kindly providing the venue for this special event.

There will also be a raffle and an auction with some fantastic items to bid on and we are hoping to raise as much as possible and as fast as possible to ensure the aid gets to where it is desperately needed, as soon as possible.
