Located amongst the bustle of London’s West End, Haymarket Wine House – a new wine bar and bistro on Haymarket W1 is now open.

mcith_haymarket.jpgYou can find it  next to Her Majesty’s and the Haymarket Theatres, so it’s a handy pre or post theatre destination.

As it’s serving a diverse selection of wines from across the globe, alongside a simple French inspired menu, this is a place to enjoy food and wine at any time of day though.

It has asimple and accessible French inspired menu, the restaurant’s and is most proud of is steak and frites.

Their specialty cut is the Butlers’ Steak, also called the Flat Iron or Oyster Blade which is a cut of steak with the grain from the beef shoulder.

Priced at a decent £10 per head, it comes with a choice of Béarnaise, Green Peppercorn or signature House Secret Sauce.

The Haymarket Wine House takes pride in the wines on offer. Serving full-bodied reds, crisp and fruity whites and rosés, the team has handpicked a range of grape varieties from Europe and beyond.

Affordable (from £7 by the glass), the wines are available by either  glass or bottle.

For the experimental drinkers, guests can order a Wine Paddle which features three different types of wines from smaller vineyards served with a trio of cheeses to share.
