Since closing the doors in March, Koji  has not only refurbished the neighbourhood spot, but in addition the team have re-created their menu and added further lines to their wine list.

mcith_Octopus%20Carpacio.jpgA number of changes have been made in regard to the layout, adapting service to ensure minimal handling yet maintaining their high level of service.

As is the new normal, hand sanitizer will be readily available, and the restaurant will be the subject of deep, regular and thorough cleaning regimes.

Lockdown has been a time of opportunity for the family-run restaurant as new dishes such as: Diver caught scallop with green apple; Torched salmon, ikura & caviar with Dijon ponzu dressing and Grilled mackeral, tosazu dressing & pumpkin purée have made their way onto the menu. (Full menu here)

Prior to lockdown, their wine list was already a strong and creative representation of the world of wine, both old world and new, well-known and lesser-known with each bottle being handpicked by the family and priced with reasonable margins.

Guests can now enjoy Margaux du Château Margaux, Pierre Marjosse and Pleiades XVI Old Vines, Sean Thackrey “#$@% the wine police”, a fascinating blend of over 10 grape varieties. Koji has something for everyone at varying price points, and from the wine list through to the new-and-improved menu and outstanding cocktail offering, character is in abundance.

The exterior, décor and artwork within this fashionable fine dining restaurant was by no means an afterthought. Renowned artist Luke Edward Hall has been commissioned to create a one-of-a-kind mural across the rear wall, adding yet another layer of detail to their re-opening.

The exterior is now brighter and thus even more inviting, and the awnings that make this restaurant such a hotspot during the summer months complement the tasteful redesign.

Koji is incredibly excited to welcome their customers and future guests upon reopening on 23rd July.koji.restaurant
