The patisserie café specialises in hand made cakes with a Japanese twist and organic Japanese teas. Their main bake styles are the Mille Crepes, Strawberry Shortcake and Roll Cake, whilst tea lovers should like their selection of organic Japanese teas and lattes.  Kova Patisserie offers Londoners the chance to taste and experience the latest café culture from East Asia.

Their signature handmade Mille Crepes feature multiple layers of French crepe with a light custard cream filling between each layer. To start with they are offering matcha, chocolate, vanilla and fresh fruit Mille Crepes. New and limited edition seasonal flavours will be introduced throughout the year.

Other cakes on offer include their signature Strawberry Shortcake; a light and fluffy layered sponge cake with fresh strawberries and cream that is extremely popular in Japan. A Matcha Tiramisu, a Souffle Cheesecake, several varieties of Roll Cake and Tarts round off the menu.

Tea is equally important at Kova and the menu features a wide selection of hand picked, organic Japanese tea sourced throughout Shizuoka and Kyoto in Japan. The menu features everything from premium green Sencha, to roasted buckwheat Sobacha, and Yuzucha, a tea made from the sweetened Asian citrus fruit yuzu.

Organic Matcha will be served as both tea and along side roasted green tea as a latte. You can also pick up Sencha and Genmaicha teas and Japanese teaware to take home.

Kova Patisserie has been designed with a minimal aesthetic, with white walls, wooden lighting and furniture, and an open cake display counter. The cakes and teas can be taken out or eaten in, and the café seats up to 12 people.

The café is on St Anne’s Court, which connects Wardour Street and Dean Street in Soho.
