Today marks the start of National Butcher’s Week Ã¢â‚¬â€œ a chance for restaurants throughout London to celebrate their fabulous meat suppliers.

And Gillray’s Steakhouse & Bar are doing just that! They are throwing a special Meat The Butcher event on 14th March, where 8thgeneration O’Shea Butchers will be taking to the block to show guests how to perfectly fillet half a cow.

They will break down the animal into the key cuts and joints, while Gillray’s Executive Head Chef, Jamie Welch, prepares a main course from the cuts produced, sharing his expert tips and tricks.

The evening will begin at 5pm with a drink on arrival with Gillray’s signature Yorkshire puddings. This will be followed by prime steak tartare and a tasting of the cuts, selected by O’Sheas.
