Helping to feed London’s obsession with bao one bun at a time,  Daddy Bao, from the team behind popular Taiwanese joint Mr Bao, will open for soft launch in Tooting, February 2018.  

Serving signature pillowy bao buns, crunchy fried chicken and Taiwanese snacks, the Daddy Bao menu will be filled with Taiwanese favourites. Think milky buns stuffed with pork, pickles and peanut powder or beer marinated prawns, pickled mooli and spiced spring onion. Don’t forget the signature smacked cucumbers and golden kimchi on the side! 

Frank Yeung is the man behind the original Mr Bao and the latest incarnation, Daddy Bao. The new opening pays homage to Frank’s father Joe Yeung – a former restauranteur of 31 years.
