Priced at £70, this 7-course tasting menu is a feast fit for a Queen as it takes guests on a gastronomical journey reminiscent of the last 7 successful decades of the Queen’s reign.

To celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s landmark Platinum Jubilee, Pivot by Mark Greenaway launches a seven course tasting menu which takes guests on a nostalgic journey through Britain.

‘Pivot’ by award-winning Scottish chef Mark Greenaway, is located on the first floor of the beautifully restored townhouse of 3 Henrietta Street.

Tucked right in the heart of one of London’s favourite neighbourhoods, it features high ceilings and large Victorian windows and views of the Piazza and all the festivities which will be taking place in Covent Garden.

Chef Greenaway will be giving this month’s menu the royal touch and, Pivot will commemorate this once in a lifetime celebration by offering a 7-course tasting menu.

Each dish on this culinary journey through time is reminiscent of a significant decade throughout The Queen’s reign. Chef Greenaway fuses nostalgic dishes that take you through a passage of classic favourites with a refined regal edge. Each dish that is part of this celebratory meal craftily represents a decade between the 1950s to 2020.

Crab Toast – Mark’s newest sharing dish, allowing guests to dig into hand-picked crab meat, shellfish butter, hazelnut cream, and toasted sourdough.

The second course is a Deviled Quail Egg – creating a modern twist on the popular deviled eggs, which were the “it” food of the 1970s.

The third course serves a Roscoff Onion – made up of a Lamb Haggis, Turnip Tuile, and Potato Mousse, celebrating when the Queen went to visit Balmoral Castle.

Fourth course is a Prawn Toast – a dish that acknowledges the UK’s Chinese food revolution that took place in the early 1960s.

Up next comes chef Greenaway’s take on Beef Pie – Dry Aged Beef Fillet, topped with Wild Mushrooms and Onion chosen in memory of the dreaded mad cow disease that took over the nation with terror in the 90s.

Following that, the sixth course honours HRH’s favourite nut, macadamia, and serves a Macadamia Caramel Cheesecake a twist on a dish that was on every restaurant and bistro’s menu back in the 80s.

Ending the meal on a sweet note with Strawberries & Cream – this dish represents the year 2005, which was Andy Murray’s Wimbledon debut.

Guests can further elevate their experience with matched drinks for only £65pp.
