100 Free Sandwiches and Salads – To celebrate their opening week, The Larder are giving away 100 free sandwiches or salads a day on Friday 19th, Saturday 20th, Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd February between 12-2pm. Those who fancy a free lunch on any of the four giveaway days simply need to be one of the first 100 through the door.

The Larder, a new 35 cover all-day café and food store based in the heart of Fitzrovia’s Pearson Square, is due to open its doors on Wednesday 17th February 2016. The café will use carefully curated produce to create tasty and simple food; from hearty breakfasts to lunchtime toasties and healthy snacks, all available to eat in or take away. The menus are created by Executive Chef Diego Cardoso and his team using seasonal ingredients from sustainable sources.

The Food and Drink

The Larder’s breakfast menu combines health-conscious choices with more indulgent morning fare. Options include super fruit salad with coconut; chia seed pots with mixed berries; and toasted breakfast sandwiches filled with everything from a Full English to spinach, ricotta & mushroom. Sweet-toothed customers are spoilt with a selection of pastries and Diego’s signature freshly baked cinnamon rolls. Keeping residents and early-morning commuters in mind, breakfast is available from 7.30am Monday-Friday and 9am on Saturday.

For lunch, those working or shopping locally can choose from fresh salads, with or without protein-rich toppings such as steamed salmon & lime, grilled free-range chicken and British roast beef. The Larder will offer a range of savoury tarts, house-made sausage rolls and sandwiches. Salads such as beetroot and feta, burrata & crushed avocado and green veggies are made daily using fresh ingredients sourced from traditional British farms.

A range of baked goods and puddings make The Larder a perfect mid-afternoon or post-work pit stop. St John’s freshly baked doughnuts filled with fresh custard or seasonally changing jams; sit alongside a range of house-made sweet treats such as plum jam cheesecake and chocolate mousse with honeycomb.

A wide selection of wine from smaller growers, and beer from craft breweries Freedom and Crate, will be available by the glass or bottle to enjoy with lunch or to take away.
