Located in the heart of Spitalfields, the brand is on a mission to serve plant-based comfort food, that directly helps bring about positive change for animals and the planet.
Founded by vegan activist and enthusiast Ed Winters (Earthling Ed), Unity Diner’s profits go directly to the animal rights organisation Surge, as well as the development of a brand new rescue sanctuary.
Designed for both vegans and flexitarians, Unity Diner is renowned for pushing gastronomic boundaries and serves a menu of vegan alternatives to culinary classics, from Prawn Tempura to Chicken Satay Skewers, burgers and hot dogs.
Unity Diner’s signature plate is its VFC’Zinga’ Burger, an entirely vegan twist on the popular Kentucky fried dish, which combines Soy Vegan Fried Chikken, a Zinga Patty, Hash Brown, Cheeze, Lettuce, Red Onion, Mayonnaise and Salsa in a bun.
Unity Diner Spitalfields site features a 100 cover restaurant and 10 seated bar, and will meet burgeoning demand for plant-based food in London.
The menu is available for lunch and dinner and features a range of American-style, plant-based sharing and individual plates.
