Chinese and Taiwanese fare and interiors inspired by a traditional Taiwanese social dining club

mcith_IMG_0538.jpgThe Mister Xu menu begins with a selection of XU classics such as the Cuttlefish Toast with Whipped Cod Rose and Xu’s Taiwanese 16 Spice Prawn.

Guests will then be invited to sample a selection of small plates, including the Aged Middlewhite Pork Xian Bing and Xu’s signature Sweet Potato Taro Dumplings, the Chilli Crab served with Salmon Roe & Mantou alongside a serving of Bamboo & Leeks.

To follow will then be the real stars of the show.

As main courses, guests can enjoy Xu’s famous Shou Pa Chicken with Ginger Spring Onion and its Char Siu Iberico Pork & Cucumber. For those treating themselves with the Tea Pairing, here will be served a Gaiwan of 10 Year Oolong Tea.

With XU best-loved for its opulent interiors, reminiscent of the luxury dining rooms of 1930’s Taipei, it’s the perfect place to sample Chinese and Taiwanese style cuisine from the exclusive set menu.

The Mister Xu set menu starts from £39/pp with a tea pairing option available for another £16, and wine pairing of £30. Booking is recommended via www.xulondon.com
