Bringing a refined American-French dining concept to Belgravia, centred on elevated takes on familiar classics.

From the team behind the Prince Arthur pub, Avi is a next step in combining traditional formats with more ambitious cooking.

The menu is designed for sharing and spans small plates, flatbreads, burgers, pasta, seafood and grill. Dishes include fried chicken and fish and chips with caviar, lobster rolls, truffle-topped burgers, lobster linguine and premium cuts of beef, alongside seafood such as carabineros and sea bass.

The drinks offering follows a similar approach, with a mix of classic and contemporary cocktails featuring bold flavour combinations and a more luxurious edge, supported by a concise wine list.

The 45-cover space takes cues from a classic French bistro, with wicker seating, white tablecloths and low lighting creating a warm, understated dining room, alongside a compact bar designed for informal drinks.

In addition to its all-day menu, Avi will offer an elevated breakfast selection open to both hotel guests and non-residents, combining traditional dishes with more indulgent options such as brioche French toast, shakshuka-style eggs, and plates featuring lobster or caviar.

The kitchen is led by chef Joshua Conte, whose background includes leading London kitchens and working with classic French techniques. His approach at Avi focuses on refining well-known dishes through careful sourcing and precise execution.

The opening introduces a new addition to Belgravia’s dining scene, offering a polished but approachable take on nostalgic, crowd-pleasing food.
