Holi Festival starting today, 18th March, is a Hindu celebration of spring, love and new life. It is also known as the “festival of colours”, most well-known for the images of people covered in bright coloured paint and powder.

Kahani

Kahani – the high end Indian restaurant off Sloane Square – is offering a set menu and special colourful cocktails! Running from the 14th-20th March, the three course set menu will be available for £55 per person.

Comprising a delicious array of samosa chaat, smoked Malabar prawn an hariyali chicken tikka, the starters really tickle the tastebuds. For mains, guests can indulge in lamb rogan josh or chicken bhuna, served with yellow lentils, new potatoes, pulao rice and naan.

The vegetarian menu is packed full of flavour and includes paneer chicken, tandoori grilled broccoli and green pea cake for starters. For mains, baby aubergine and paneer is on the menu, served with the same sides as above. To finish the meal with a sweet something, carrot halwa with rose & pistachio Kulfis is served for dessert.

The four, special and colourful cocktails have been created especially for Holi Festival. The four cocktails – Colours of Holi, Love, Forgive or Forget and Spring – are the perfect way to celebrate the Indian festival in style.

Tamarind Tiger

Tamarind Tiger – London’s first grab and go Indian restaurant on Baker Street – is giving away its best-selling samosas half price all day!

Samosas are a dish traditionally eaten during Holi Festival, so this year on Friday 18th March, anyone visiting Tamarind Tiger will be able to get 50% off either its Lamb or Vegan samosas!
