The Hard Rock Cafe London will launch the restaurant’s brand-new menu globally on Hard Rock’s Founders Day, Friday 14 June. Lucky Londoners can tuck in right now,  homage to the London restaurant as the original location .

Now nearly half a century old, The Hard Rock Cafe promises this will be the most extensive menu innovation in the company’s history, with over 20 new offerings, including award-winning steak burgers, Instagram-worthy boozy milkshakes and savoury sliders and shareables.  Foodepedia were invited to be one of the first to try out the new menu.

The menu begins with the opening act of new sliders and shareables. These include the Spicy Rockin Shrimp (crispy shrimp, tossed in a creamy, spicy sauce, topped with green onions and sesame seeds, served on a bed of creamy coleslaw), Southwest Spring Rolls (Crispy spring rolls with black beans, roasted corn, Monterey Jack cheese, red pepper and jalapeño with a guacamole ranch dipping sauce).

And as a homage to Hard Rock‘s world famous burgers, the All-American Sliders (three mini-burgers with melted American cheese, crispy onion ring and creamy coleslaw on a toasted brioche bun).

The headliners of the menu star all new burgers, including The Big Cheeseburger, a new take on The Original Legendary Burger and the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger.

The menu also sports the new Moving Mountains Burger, a 100% plant-based patty. Just be sure to ask for the cheese to be removed to make it a proper vegan burger, though.

However, it’s not the only London influence. Stacking up at £19.95, the sizeable burger is likely to leave a big impression on both you and your wallet.

Area Vice President of Operations, Europe, David Pellow, justifies the price as not simply being the cost of the burger, but for the whole Hard Rock experience, something the new menu endeavours to offer.

After all, burgers aren’t the only menu items making their debut. New Boozy milkshakes with elevated twists on classic American flavours add an experimental feel to the menu.

The new Cookies and Cream Milkshake (Absolut Vanilla Vodka, vanilla bean ice cream, white chocolate and Oreo cookies, topped off with whipped cream and a cookies and cream Kit Kat) will have everyone in the spirit to snap a shot to share with friends before taking a sip.

The new menu comes ahead of Hard Rock Cafe‘s launch of their new flagship restaurant in Piccadilly Circus, expected to open later this year.
