When it comes to celebrating Valentine’s Day, cash-strapped couples are shunning no expense spared nights out in favour of staying in. In a new survey by the makers of Gordon’s® gin, over half of UK adults (58 percent)[1] said they would be celebrating Saturday, 14 February 2009 at home, with 20 percent citing the need to save money as the reason.

To make these at home celebrations extra special, Gordon’s has unveiled a Valentine’s themed twist to the G&T – a classic coupling.
