There’s a certain whisky based cream liqueur that’s very well known, yes that one, but this Xmas why not try an alternative that’s all the way from Ireland?

Shanky’s Whip is an affordable Irish whiskey-based liqueur launched earlier this year that’s based on a combination of Irish spirits, and aged pot still whiskey, blended in with the natural flavour of vanilla infused with caramel.

It’s seriously smooth and extremely more-ish. LIke a Mr Whippy with alcohol as served by a very dodgy ice cream van. Black Irish whiskey, Irish spirit, caramel and vanilla all come together with a grown up spicy notes.

You can do a lot with it, drop a measure into a pint of stout or take 25ml Shanky’s Whip and mix 100ml of Cold Brew Coffee, shake with ice and serve over ice in a Martini Glass for new kind of espresso martini, mix one part Shanky’s with four parts cola for a longer drink

It’s perfect to serve to guests this festive season as an after dinner digestif as well. Should send the turkey down a treat!
