Damian Allsop Chocolates, known for the avant-garde chocolate collections made using a unique water-based (rather than cream-base) recipe, launched their latest creation, ‘CLOUDS’ at the end of June. A light crisp centre, full of flavour, encased in chocolate and decorated by hand. These are available selected from outlets around London, as well as through their website www.damianallsop.com.
The ‘CLOUDS’ are sold in boxes of six, with one flavour per box, those available at present are: Berries -mixed summer fruits with vanilla, dipped in 70%dark chocolate and Coffee/Anise – an amazing flavour changer that starts with the taste of anise before coffee comes in with caramel notes from the milk chocolate coating, then leaving a licorice flavour on the palate, even though it doesn’t contain any.
The ‘CLOUDS’ have a RRP of £4.95 per box and are available at Elizabeth King Delicatessen in Parsons Green, 34 New King’s Street, as well as Food Inc In Bayswater’s Whiteleys shopping centre and Nona’s Deli in Camden aside from the Damian Allsop website above. Do try them.
