Langtry’s Restaurant, located within the five-star Cadogan Hotel, is celebrating St Patrick’s Day 2009 with a traditional Irish Menu. The menu will be available from Monday 16 March until Sunday 22 March 2009.

The festive St Patrick’s Day menu includes a bottle of Guinness or an Irish coffee, and will be priced at only £16.95 per person. The three-course meal, designed by Head Chef Oliver Lesnik, will start off with parsnip and apple soup followed by Irish stew and rosemary carrots. For the sweet course, diners can choose between Bailey’s Irish cream bread and butter pudding or a traditional Irish cheese board with water biscuits. The St Patrick’s Day menu will be served in the elegant Langtry’s Restaurant, as well as in The Cadogan Bar and Drawing Room.

The Cadogan hotel is located in the heart of Knightsbridge. Langtry’s Restaurant once formed part of the home of the famous actress Lillie Langtry who caused a sensation by being the first society woman to appear on stage. The décor of the restaurant enhances the historic grandeur, featuring high sculptured ceilings, a magnificent Carrera marble Louis XIV fireplace, oversized mirrors and an original glass chandelier.
