BAFTA style partners Asprey, Charles Worthington, Escada, and Lancôme will be participating in one-off BAFTA Afternoon Tea at The Dorchester (Official Hotel to the Orange British Academy Film Awards) on Thursday 21 January, transforming The Promenade into a fashion show reminiscent of a red carpet awards evening.

To celebrate the partnership with the Orange British Academy Film Awards, The Dorchester will automatically enter all BAFTA Afternoon Tea guests into a prize draw for one lucky recipient to win the official nominee gift bag which is given to all nominees, whether they win the coveted BAFTA masks or not.

On 21 January, models will be wearing the latest occasion and evening wear by Escada with unique dresses and accessories which represent glamour, colour, quality and amazing fit. Jewellery by Asprey will showcase highlights from the new Calla Lily, Feather and Protector collections. Make up will be by Benjamin Rousseau, Lancôme National Make-Up Artist, with hair by Charles Worthington.

Style hunters taking a table will be given a copy of the BAFTA nomination announcement made that morning, and a goody bag including items by Charles Worthington, Evian, Hotel Chocolat and an award-winning Lancôme Hypnôse Mascara. Afternoon Tea will consist of a glass of Taittinger Champagne (the Official Champagne of BAFTA), delicious savoury finger sandwiches, homemade scones and a selection of exquisite pastries.

The BAFTA Afternoon Tea will be served in The Promenade at The Dorchester on 21 January 2010 at two sittings, 2.15pm and 4.45pm, and is priced at £48.00 per adult including a glass of champagne (Prices are inclusive of VAT and exclusive of service charge at 12.5%).
