The next date in the Bingham restaurant’s monthly programme of themed tasting menus will be Friday, October 30th, when head chef Shay Cooper will be preparing a menu celebrating the autumn favourite of game. The seven course meal, including specially matched wines, will be priced at £55.

Shay has created a menu to include both feathered and furred game, with dishes to feature venison tartare, pumpkin custard and crispy ginger; quail broth, white beans, truffle and ceps, sticky quail bun; and braised hare, hazelnut gnocchi, pomegranate, radish leaves. The menu also includes a cheese course taken from the Bingham’s wide selection of British cheeses, and a seasonal dessert. The monthly tasting evenings have become a highlight at the restaurant, demonstrating the talent and versatility of the kitchen, which was this year awarded its third AA rosette. The restaurant also serves a regularly changing set lunch menu, excellent value at just £19.50 for two courses, a seasonal à la carte as well as Sunday Lunch.
