This Saturday sees the launch of an Xi’an inspired Chinese brunch menu available at Murger Han Elephant and Castle.

This new weekend brunch offering is available on Saturdays and Sundays from 8am to 3pm at Elephant and Castle only.

The showstopper on this new Murger Han brunch is the traditional handmade Chinese tasting set, a beautiful tray featuring a morning treat in each compartment. The Murger Han set Chinese brunch includes, Deep fried dough sticks, Scallion pancakes, Millet Congee, Steamed bun with meat stuffing, Fried bread slices, Condensed milk, Black tea spiced egg, Appetizer pickles, Pan fried chicken dumplings, all served with a warm bowl of soya milk.

Other small dishes on the menu include Jellied tofu with house special sauce, Fried Chinese chive and egg dumpling, Plain steamed dumpling and Pan-fried Pork dumpling.

The ancient Xi’an favourite, The Murger is perfect breakfast material and these feature Roast duck, Pork, Lean pork and Spicy beef with peppers and cumin.

Soups feature Wonton soup, Dumplings in spicy and sour soup and Rice noodles in chicken broth. There is also a
full list of hot and cold drinks as well as signature cocktails, wines and beers.
