Allan Pickett at Plateau will be serving up Roast Grouse, game croute, watercress, Hendricks gin jus. £28.50. This will go on the menu a few days after the 12th.


Brasserie Joel will be serving a creation of head chef Joel Antunes: Roast grouse with pumpkin praline, ravioli and bread sauce (market price)

Poached breast of grouse with cob nut shavings, celeriac smoked in hay, sea purslain and almond milk foam.

The dish is on the menu from 13th August and is priced at £36.00.


Quo Vadis will soon be adding traditional roast grouse to their menu, served with game chips and a fabulous bread sauce. The dish will be on offer from the first week of September, when the birds have grown to the perfect, mouth-watering size.Priced at £26.
