The Waldorf Hilton, London, has launched a rather fancy picnic hamper. Pick it up from the hotel, and wander into nearby St. James’ Park, Victoria Embankment and Temple Gardens. Nearby Somerset House will be also holding evening events this summer, with visitors able to bring their own picnics to enjoy.

The hampers include an assortment of artesian breads filled with Chef’s selection of organic, seasonal fillings, a melange of French and Italian olives with sun blushed tomatoes, Parma ham grissini sticks, and handmade scones with English preserves. To finish, picnickers can enjoy a medleys of seasonal fruits, hand crafted cakes from the hotel’s Homage Grand Salon, and a punnet of Kent strawberries.

Hampers are available for two or four people, and are priced from just £30 and £45 respectively. A bottle of Lanson Champagne can also be added for a touch of extra sparkle (£30 supplement).
