In Horto, the recently relaunched restaurant in London Bridge’s Southwark, has introduced a new pre-theatre menu available every day from 5:00pm-6:30pm.

The new set pre-fixe menu, centred around sharing plates, using locally sourced produce, prepared over their bespoke brick oven, is available for £36 per person.

Guests can choose from a selection of dishes to include; a Bread basket with a variety of accompaniments, Beetroot With Fennel; horseradish creme fraiche and pickled red onion, Lamb Shank with jersey potato and preserved lemon and Roasted Chicken with confit garlic and burnt leeks. The meal will be complete with an indulgent Tableside Tiramisu.

The use of smoke or fire is intertwined into the curation of every dish at In Horto, where their brick oven is at the heart of the menu. Designed for sharing, the menu is divided into snacks, starters, from the oven and sides.

Highlights from the starters and snacks include a whole Baked Tunworth, garlic confit, truffle honey, White Crab Meat, charred baby gem & brown crab mayonnaise and snacking Chorizo with honey and mustard. Heartier options ‘from the oven’ include a Whole Sea Bream served with green sauce, Beef & Bone Marrow Pie with root vegetables and red wine jus, and Baked Cauliflower with four cheese potatoes. Desserts feature indulgent classics with Tarte Tatin, vanilla ice
cream, Chocolate Mousse, honeycomb, salted caramel ice cream and Tiramisu.

In Horto is located 98ft from the Menier Chocolate Factory Theatre which showcases and produces its own plays, musicals and comedy, making it the ideal location to enjoy a pre-theatre dinner.
