Up the river without a curry? No way.

Since opening earlier this year Sindhu by Atul Kochhar has become a favourite in foodie Marlow and it’s launching pre and post dinner river cruises this summer.

Until the end of September diners can now experience a picturesque meander up the Thames on the restaurant’s private boat, as it winds its way through the stunning Buckinghamshire countryside before embarking for dinner, or savour a digestif and coffee after lunching at the two AA Rosette restaurant.

The two Edwardian replica vessels, Silent Waters and Sovereign Waters can host parties of up to six guests and 12 accordingly, making them perfect for special summer parties and celebrations –  and the restaurant will arrange for drinks and a selection of canapés to be enjoyed as you float along by the riverbank, for a truly memorable experience.

Sindhu (which means river or ocean, appropriately enough) offers a sophisticated menu designed to celebrate the very best of cuisine from the south west coast of India in a contemporary manner. The menus are inspired by Atul’s love of the area and its unique culinary traditions combined with his love of using the finest British ingredients. The result is an innovative style of authentic modern Indian cuisine

Boat trips must be booked 48 hours in advance by contacting the restaurant and cost

£49 per person (up to six passengers) or £99 per person (for six – 12 passengers) for a half hour trip, one hour trips are also available.
