Rotunda, the hidden gem a stone’s throw from King’s Cross station, has launched an English garden
themed summer terrace in partnership with Sussex winery Roebuck Estates.

The Roebuck Garden at Rotunda is a vibrant English garden-inspired area with spectacular views of the
Regents Canal, a perfect location to enjoy what’s on offer – from after work drinks to bottomless brunches
or even a Sunday roast, with much of the produce supplied by local, small producers and fresh meats from
Rotunda’s own English farm.
The new space, open April to September, has been designed in collaboration with Global Generation, an
educational charity which co-creates gardens in local communities, often aimed at young people and
residents who don’t have open spaces to enjoy. Filled with seasonal florals and planting which bring the
beauty of the English countryside into an urban setting, this is a glorious terrace to relax and sip a glass of
English sparkling wine.
The use of local and English suppliers reflects Rotunda’s commitment to sustainability. Even their coffee
comes from a Shoreditch roaster who gives 65 percent of its profits to the homeless. And together with
Roebuck’s wines, Rotunda shares a commitment to provenance, craftmanship and seasonality which is
reflected in the drinks menu.

So whilst enjoying a taste of summer in an English garden, right in the heart of London, guests are also
supporting the environment, English producers and many worthy causes.
The Cocktail menu is based on a ‘grass to glass’ philosophy, with British grown ingredients and fresh, seasonal flavours, such as the delicious Mint & Raspberry, combining raspberry gin, mint shrub and Roebuck Rosé de Noirs; or Strawberry & Gooseberry, pairing strawberry vodka and gooseberry cordial with Roebuck Classic Cuvée.
There is also a savoury cocktail, Pea & Beetroot, blending pea vodka, beetroot and Roebuck Rosé de Noirs. Known for producing premium English sparkling wines from their estate-grown fruit in West Sussex, Roebuck’s collection is offered by the glass or bottle.
The Garden menu features ‘gate to plate’ dishes, with beef and lamb sourced directly from Rotunda’s farm
in Northumberland. High quality, sustainable meats are turned into mouth-watering dishes. Try delicious
Croquettes with Mustard Emulsion, London Smoke & Cure Charcuterie Platter, Smoked Chalk Stream Trout
and Roast Leaks with Burrata and London Honey.
There are also ‘Seasonal Experiences’ for those celebrating a special occasion, maybe as a group, such as
Roebuck Classic Cuvée with fresh oysters or sharing platters, as well as the classic Roebuck wine flight.
