This Friday 13 May, Old Spitalfields Night Market are bringing Friday vibes with late night antics from the market’s eclectic roster of resident retailers and restaurants; a bar by DrinkUp.London – the creative team behind London Cocktail Week, London Beer Week and London Wine Week, events celebrating the capital’s vibrant drinking scene; live music from knock-out bands; and DJs by Hoxton Radio.
Expect a selection of street food from the likes of Bleecker St Burger, Dirty Bagels, Sud Italia, Poppies, Al Chile and Belpassi Bros, featured alongside a dedicated Boilermaker Bar from DrinkUp.London. Having made its debut last month, the bluesy, rock and rollin’ pop-up is back and will again be showcasing the humble Boilermaker.
Guests are invited to pick their poison by rolling the dice on the DrinkUp.London team’s handpicked favourite brews and spirits of varying styles. Plus, with London Wine Week just around the corner, the bar will be serving glasses of fizz and Chambord Royale cocktails to get visitors in the mood.
UK based 4 piece band, The Indi Souls, will be taking to the stage along with Joanne Evans (currently performing in Gobsmacked! the acapella musical) and London-based Brazilian composer, singer and guitar player, Mario Bakuna. Live acts and music throughout the evening will be interspersed with effervescent commentary from Hoxton Radio’s Liam Young.
In-store music will be from Dr Marten’s, and an artist from Superga shoes will be on hand throughout the evening to customise white Cotu Classics.
Old Spitalfields Market stands proud as one of London’s most historical landmarks; though shrouded in modern glitz, the ever evolving, bustling market of today encapsulates a colourful past preserved for the enjoyment of generations to come.
Old Spitalfields Night Market runs on the second Friday of every month, from 5.30-9pm.
