Ã¢â‚¬ËœO ver, creator of London’s first Pure Sea Water Pizza is set to bring authentic Neapolitan street food to St James’s Market, launching May 2019.
After two years as Borough’s go to neighbourhood kitchen’O ver will open a sister restaurant,’O ver St James’s, in the thriving international cuisine destination St James’s Market.
Seating 80,’O ver St James’s will offer Neapolitan street food freshly prepared every day. Its ingredient-led menu will champion traditional recipes alongside the best artisan producers and ingredients throughout Italy.
The restaurant will further evolve its concept of cooking with Pure Sea Water, an approach that unlocks a number of advantages whilst significantly improving the taste and texture.
Ã¢â‚¬ËœO ver’s Pure Sea Water is extracted from crystalline areas of the Mediterranean and contains 40% less sodium and more minerals making it lighter and easy to digest.
The result is an authentic Neapolitan pizza, which is very soft, elastic, tender and fragrant.
Ã¢â‚¬ËœO ver St James’s will embody the familiar, relaxed and refined style of’O ver Borough alongside a bespoke menu and interior unique to its new neighbourhood.
Inspired by the wilds of Naples, the restaurant will feature a verdant array of plants alongside a selection of trees creating an, al-fresco atmosphere in the City.
Ã¢â‚¬ËœO ver St James’s signature dishes will include those inspired by recipes bestowed from chef’s grandmother, including the Genovese pasta, a 12-hour slow-cooked organic beef and amber onion raguÃŒÂ.
Having honed’O ver’s Pure Sea Water Pizza technique from day one Pizza Chef Marino Bove will be safeguarding and developing the concept at’O ver St James’s.
Also a Neapolitan and a former teacher at The True Neapolitan Pizza Association he is a master of the craft of dough making.
