Super Tuscan, the Italian enoteca in Spitalfields, is triumphing the different regions of Italy, reveling in a new region every month – from Tuscany to Sicily, Puglia and Piedmont.  Nick Grossi, Founder of Super Tuscan, will create a tasting menu of his 3 favourite dishes that best represent a region, accompanied by a matching flight of three wines.

September will mean Sicily, and Sicilian month will bring traditional street food dishes such as Panelle and arancini, the classic Melanzane alla Parmigiana and dessert of cannoli.  The wine flight will focus on Inzolia, Syrah and Regaleali rosato.

In October, the enoteca will herald all things Puglian with Burrata, and orechiette with cime di rapa.  The wine flight will include a Negroamaro rosato, a Primitivo, along with their new Fiano Masseria Bianca 2012, IGT Salento.

November will mark the arrival of Piedmont, and guests will feast on pasta with truffles and some of the regions less well known cheeses such as Castelmango, Paglierina, Toma.  The wine flight will be Barbera bianco, Gavi and a Barolo.
