London’s first 100% vegan pub The Spread Eagle is celebrating the lighter evenings and warmer weather with the launch of a brand new spring menu.

With a strong commitment to zero waste, sustainability and plant-based living, The Spread Eagle’s new menu focuses on seasonality and using locally sourced, high-quality ingredients to create vegan dishes that are full of flavour and have a low environmental impact at the same time.

Combining traditional pub fare with innovative plant-based alternatives, pub-goers can enjoy a selection of big and small plates from the menu.

The pub’s plant-based power dishes hit all the right notes, offering a mixture of classics and modern takes on the usual pub grub – staples on the menu include the popular Pie & Mash and a Classic Beyond Patty Burger.

Guests can also tuck into delicious spring dishes including:

Roasted spiced carrots & sweet potatoes, yoghurt, coriander & chutney (gf)

Cauliflower rosti, black bean hummus & pickles (gf)

Wild garlic & rocket arancini & pomodoro sauce

Purple sprouting broccoli, gnocchi, white bean puree, romesco & almonds (gf)

Bulgar wheat pilaf, black olives, pink pickled onions & herbs

Korean: Crispy fried chicken of the woods mushrooms, gochujang sauce, pickled carrot & daikon slaw.

As the weather warms and the days lengthen, guests can enjoy pints and alfresco dining in the outdoor garden equipped with foliage and heaters for those cosy evening gatherings.
