If you salivate over the amazing dishes prepared on the Great British Menu, you can try some of them for yourself at Chef Adam Handling’s The Frog E1 restaurant, in Shoreditch from 2nd September.  He will be serving three of the dishes he created for this series’ GBM Scottish regional round, in celebration of the return of one of the nation’s favourite foodie programmes.

Appearing in the competition this year for the first time, the 2013 MasterChef: The Professionals finalist will be recreating the theatrical and culinary magic of Great British Menu. The fish course, Jewels in Our Seas (lobster, scallop, crab – £25) will be accompanied by a main course (Wagyu A5, courgette flowers – £30) and a dessert (yuzu, raspberry, frozen whisky – £10), and all dishes will be available from dinner service on Friday 2nd September 2016.

With the possibility of trying dishes that normally only tantalise you through a screen, we suggest booking yourself a table, pronto. The three dishes will remain on the menu at The Frog E1 for two weeks only.

The new Great British Menu series began on August 29th on BBC2, and the Scottish chefs were the first to compete. You can catch Adam in action on BBC iPlayer.
