The small Italian chain of delis and restaurants Valentina Fine Foods  has opened its seventh branch, this time in Chiswick High Road, West London.  The family owned business which prides itself on bringing an authentic Italian experience to the High street already has branches in Putney, East Sheen, Notting Hill, Weybridge, Reigate and Sevenoaks.

The Chiswick branch opened with a family friendly celebration which saw donkey rides, live accordion music, a vintage Fiat car and food and wine tastings on the High Road.

Valentina, which takes its name from the daughter of one of the owners,   was founded by Bruno Zoccola whose parents emigrated from Sant’Elia Fiumerapido, a small village near Monte Cassino southeast of Rome, arriving in London in 1958. Bruno worked in the meat packing business in London before setting up the first Valentina in East Sheen with the Southern Italian influence and heritage strong across the group.  Valentina Fine Foods is jointly owned by the Zoccola and Arcari families and an extensive dining menu offers various Italian recipes handed down from generations of the respective families. The Chiswick site – as with all the venues in the Valentina Fine Foods group – features a fully stocked delicatessen, including a range of original Italian products, many not available anywhere else in the UK. The expansive deli range includes fresh hams and salamis, cheeses and traditional antipasti, alongside a complete range of store cupboard essentials, as well as specials, cooked freshly every day.

Bruno Zoccola said “We are very excited about the latest addition to our family business. Chiswick has a vibrant atmosphere with a great mix of young families and professionals.”.
