City restaurant Vivat Bacchus will be hosting a South African wine festival at its Farringdon branch (47, Farringdon Street) between 12-14 May, coinciding with the International Wine & Spirits Fair taking place in London.

Fifteen of South Africa’s finest wineries, including Paul Cluver Wines, Vergelegen, Klein Constantia and Tokara will be represented at the festival, which will feature a series of wine tastings and dinners – at which many of South Africa’s award winning wines will be matched with delicious menus created specially by Vivat Bacchus’ executive head chef Stuart Ferguson.

Customers can book their places for the tastings (priced at £15 per person) and the wine dinners (priced at £59 per person) through the restaurant’s team, contactable on 020 7353 2648 or i[email protected].
