Two new culinary projects have launched at Zucca – a monthly Chef’s Table and a  calendar of ongoing regional Italian nights.

Sam Harris, Chef Patron of the modern Italian restaurant located on SE1’s Bermondsey Street, will host a series of Chef’s Tables, opening exclusively for an intimate group on the last Monday of every month. Strictly limited to eight places, guests can enjoy an exclusive 5-course dinner with matching wines, personally prepared and served by Sam

Sam welcomes epicures to join him at Zucca’s kitchen counter, to learn the secrets of his simple, seasonal and authentic Mediterranean cooking. Cooking classic Zucca dishes as well as introducing new off-menu plates, Sam takes his guests through an inspirational Italian menu. Guests areable to freely interact with him as he prepares the meal, discussing the food and wine matches in greater detail and testing Sam’s self-taught wine knowledge for a more personal

Zucca experience. Priced at £100, the Chef’s Table runs from 6:30pm-9:30pm. The next Chef’s Table event will be held on 22nd April.

In addition to the Chef’s Table, Zucca will also launch 20 monthly regional Italian nights, offering a specially crafted menu of food and wine focusing on a particular region of Italy(available 6pm-10pm). The menu will include antipasti, pasta, a main course, cheese and classic Italian desserts, and will provide an educational insight into the inspiration behind Zucca. The upcoming schedule includes Liguria on 25 April, Marche on 31st May, Puglia on 26th June, Calabria on 26th July and Sicily on 29th August.
