Enzo and Robert Scalzo, two of the brothers behind the success of Patisserie Valerie, have opened a new all-day brasserie and gallery in London’s Belgravia. Located on Elizabeth Street, da Scalzo Art Brasserie aims to be the meeting place of choice for the area’s many visitors, workers and discerning local residents – somewhere to pop in for coffee and a croissant in the morning, stop for a quick bite to eat at lunch, or enjoy a leisurely dinner with a bottle of wine in the evening.

Open all day Monday to Saturday from 7am to 11pm, and on Sundays from 8am to 8pm, the brasserie serves a menu showcasing the best of Italian and French cuisine, prepared with a creative, contemporary slant. Da Scalzo’s menu is moderately priced with first courses from £4.50 to £7.50 and main courses from £9 to £16 with a carefully chosen a selection of new and old world wines starting at £13.50 a bottle.

The mezzanines serve as both dining room and art gallery, showing the work of contemporary artists in conjunction with da Scalzo’s gallery partners, Highgate Fine Art (oddyart.com). Private views and previews every six weeks will be a highlight of the Art Gallery.
