One of London’s most loved Mexican street food restaurants Wahaca is opening a new restaurant, and it’s going to be the largest one yet!

Due to open on Wednesday 10th November, the venue on Soho’s Wardour Street is spread over two floors. Excitingly, Wahaca are also launching their first stand alone tequila bar on the lower ground floor. The bar will offer a mind-bogglingly large range of the world’s best 100% agave tequilas.

The House spirit is El Tesoro De Don Felipe and signature cocktails at Wahaca will include Margarita on the rocks with organic agave syrup, the brand new Cacao Margarita- velvety chocolate with a hint of spice and the Hibiscus Mojito.

There’ll be room for 145 people to eat in the dining area upstairs and the new Autumn Menu will feature smoked mackerel tostadas tossed in fresh tomato salsa with a squirt of lime and Wahaca’s trademark enchiladas and tamales reworked with strips of poblano chilli and Wensleydale cheese or slow-cooked ancho and chile de arbol sauce.

Seasonal street food specials will be pork torta with guacamole, refried beans and shredded lettuce, mexican fondue, queso fundido. 20p from each dish sold in the seasonal street food section will go to Unesco charity, Endica which helps to educate the street kids in Mexico.
