South Place Hotel,the five-star, luxury hotel in the heart of the City of London, has opened three beautiful terraces.

Visitors can choose from a luxury hideaway on the Rooftop Terrace, a beautiful oasis in the hotel’s Secret Garden or the Chop House Terrace known for its classic seasonal British dishes and extensive wine list. 

Open from Wednesday through to Saturday, the wide selection of terraces offer a choice of cuisines, mixed drinks & picturesque surroundings to suit everyone’s tastes when catching up with those they’ve missed over lockdown.  

Rooftop Terrace

The Rooftop Terrace immerses visitors into a luxury hideaway, up away from the busy streets of London.

Diners can choose from a selection of light, fresh British dishes including: warm English asparagus with a poached Burford brown egg and wild garlic hollandaise, mackerel tartar with oyster cream and steamed Cornish sea bass with Jersey royals. 

While away the warm afternoons and evenings in the decadent retreat whilst eating great food and sipping on crisp glasses of Taittinger Champagne with friends.  

South Place Chop House Terrace

South Place Chop House’s Terrace will serve up a menu of classic seasonal British dishes, typical of the restaurant’s renowned style. Diners will be able to choose from: venison Scotch eggs, grilled lemon pepper chicken wings, buttermilk quail Caesar salad, crispy tiger prawns or a selection of premium steaks, grilled to perfection on the Josper GrillWhilst you wait for your steak to arrive take a peruse over Chop House’s extensive wine list.   

Secret Garden

Sit back and relax in the hotel’s Secret Garden, an oasis hidden away in the City of London.

Dine on dishes from South Place Chop House whilst you take advantage of their ever evolving cocktail menu. South Place Bar Manager recommends the ultimate Summer thirst quencher, The East Spritz –  Anise infused Ketel One, fruit punch infused Aperol, sparkling wine & Mediterranean tonic.
