The Mandrake has unveiled a new culinary concept with the relaunch of YOPO Zaytoun, opening alongside the return of the hotel’s Jurema Terrace. Drawing inspiration from Levantine flavours, the restaurant focuses on seasonal ingredients and dishes intended for sharing.
Under the guidance of Director of Food and Beverage Tim Lang and Head Chef Viktor Yordanov, formerly of Mazi, the menu includes dishes such as yellowtail with preserved lemon, harissa-glazed ribeye and native oysters finished with citrus gremolata. Desserts include pistachio mille-feuille and olive oil ice cream, completing the experience with a contemporary flourish.
Afternoon Tea at Jacqueline, The Chancery Rosewood

Overlooking Grosvenor Square, Jacqueline at The Chancery Rosewood offers a refined afternoon tea experience throughout the Bank Holiday weekend. Available daily between 1pm and 6pm, the menu has been created by celebrated pâtissier Chef Marius Dufay and is paired with an extensive tea collection of more than 120 varieties.
Guests can expect classic finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with Devonshire clotted cream and preserves, and elegant pastries including hazelnut religieuse and Yorkshire rhubarb with hibiscus custard. Inspired by the charm of traditional British teatime, The Athenaeum’s afternoon tea takes cues from fondant fancies and the greenery surrounding Green Park.
