In celebration of the early harvest olive oil, Pizza Pilgrims City will be hosting two evenings dedicated to the rich flavours of Italian extra virgin olive oil on Friday 20th May.

Hosted by Robert Curbishley (olive oil sommelier from Mediterranean ingredient gurus Belazu) the evening will begin with a Dirty Olive Gimlet cocktail (gin, lemon, honey, and olive brine shaken with ice & served with a cocktail olive) & antipasti.

Diners will then be able to try the star of the show – the Early Harvest Calazone. Stuffed with seasonal British blanched asparagus, asparagus cream, smoked mozzarella, Parmesan, the calzone is served with a little bottle of Belazu Early Harvest olive oil to pour into the calzone to taste before taking home at the end of the evening. Dessert will also include a Nocerella oil and sea salt ice cream.
