Wednesday is steak day at Camino and the team has launched a club whereby a perfect cut of beef, be it fillet, rib-eye, sirloin or rump, sourced from one of their key suppliers at Borough market such as Ginger Pig, is cooked just as you like it and served with a big salad and a glass of specially chosen Spanish red such as Ribera del Duero. The Spaghetti Tree unravelled at Carluccio’s

Between 6.30pm and 8.30pm on selected dates, Author Alasdair Scott Sutherland will host an evening of fine Italian food, wine and literature as he tells the story behind his brand new book ‘The Spaghetti Tree: Mario and Franco and the Trattoria Revolution. A book signing and live Q&A session will follow before all attendees enjoy an authentic, two-course Italian dinner for just £8.50.

Tate offers crunch-friendly children’s activities for the holiday period

During the Easter holidays and May half-term Tate Modern and Tate Britain will present a range of fun, free activities for kids including workshops, interactive games and multi-media guides. To complete the family day out, the two London sites will also be running an offer for children to eat for free in Tate Britain’s Rex Whistler Restaurant and Tate Modern’s Café 2 and Level 7 restaurant.
