In celebration of London Cocktail Week Courvoisier is hosting 2 punch events today and tomorrow. Both these cocktail events will be held at The Future Gallery where ground-breaking bar Raoul’s is taking up residence for the week.

On Tuesday 12th owner of Raoul’s bar, Tim Fitz-Gibbon, is hosting The Courvoisier Speakeasy from 5-10pm. This London Cocktail week party will recreate the birthplace of modern cocktail culture and pay tribute to New Orleans, giving guests the chance to enjoy Cognac Cider Collins, honey and fig juleps and cognac sherbet mules with music from The Sunshine Kings New Orleans Jazz group.

Wednesday 13th sees the arrival of Courvoisier’s Spirit of Punch Seminar from 12-3pm. Legendary drinks historian Gary Regan, the author of The Joy of Mixology will be taking guests on an historical journey of cognac as a mixable spirit. The special London Cocktail Week session will cover brandy’s influence on punch and the world’s earliest cocktails. Guests will also be able to sample cocktails from yesteryear like Eliza Smith’s Cock Ale Punch from 1742 which includes chicken as an ingredient. There will be chicken free punch as well, courtesy of leading mixologist Joe McCanta.

Both events are free and there’s discounted drinks for London Cocktail Week wristband holders. You can register for Courvoisier’s Spirit of Punch Seminar by emailing:
