Tom Sellers, chef-patron of Restaurant Story, is hosting a special pop-up dinner aboard the Belmond British Pullman on Friday 10 October (6.30pm-11.30pm).

Guests will journey aboard this train’s glamorous vintage carriages and enjoy a bespoke tasting menu of seven courses, with accompanying wines. There will also be the chance to meet and chat with Tom, and each guest will receive a signed menu. Restaurant Story opened in April 2013 in Tooley Street, London SE1, and received a Michelin star within five months of opening.

British Pullman is hosting an array of award-winning chefs throughout the year. Stepping on board Belmond British Pullman is like stepping back in time, to an age when train travel was the epitome of sophistication. Royalty, film stars and heads of state were transported in luxury on these “palaces on wheels” during the 1920s and ’30s.

Tickets cost £495 per person. The train departs from and returns to London Victoria. Bookings can be made on 0845 077 2222 or visit the website
